Congratulation Lazybusinessman as our March MOTM !
As one of our longest serving members; Jason has been driving, showing and competing his 2004 Mazda 6 since he bought it 6 years ago.
Jason is known for his art and design business with humorous decal designs. You can see him auto-crossing his 6 at local AZ Solo events
and the occasional club showing at the Scottsdale Pavilions.
Since Jason first bought his Mazda 6 he has completed numerous power and interior mods to his vehicle. Suspension mods consisting of Racing Beats
front and rear sway bars, Tein lowering springs, slotted rotors paired with hawk pads and stainless lines. Riding on Rota powder coated black wheels,
blacked out headlights, HIDs, AEM intake and a mean sounding magnaflow exhaust.
Throughout his 6 years with the club. Jason has made many friends, memories and learned a lot about his 6 and other Mazda vehicles through the use of the forums and the hands on experience with mod meets.

It was another eventful and exciting year for AZMC. Although we lost some members, we also gained more. This is intended to show and recap some memories from all that was accomplished in 2009 as it comes to an end. Thank You to all members who participated in any events this year to make it a memorable one.

An annual event held by RCCAZ to celebrate the new year with a drive up South Mountain followed by a day of kart racing at F1 Race Factory
1/24 Peoria Firefighters Charity Car Show
The first Charity Show of 2009. You could expect anything from classics, bikes, trucks and some the best custom paint jobs in the Valley
2/28 AZMC Annual Dyno Day
One of the most anticipated days of the year is the annual Dyno Day. Held at UMS Tuning in Mesa, nearly 20 Mazda’s were dyno'd in one day. Awards were handed out in 8 categories, meat was cooked and oil was burned! Another successful Dyno Day thanks to the guys at UMS
4/4 JennaBears Charity Car Show
2nd Annual JennaBears Shows is a Charity Car/Truck/Bike show benefiting the JennaBears Foundation. Held at the Peoria Sports Complex, you'll find a really nice selection of classic cars, jacked up 4x4, bikes and newer model cars
9/26 Seven Stock XII
Held at Mazda Corporate NA HQ in Irvine, CA; rotor heads assembled for a weekend festivity of everything rotary. From Friday night Karting to Saturdays guest speakers and awards for “Best Of”. This is a must for any rotary owner and one of the more popular events for AZMC

10/23 Annual Tri-State Mazda Meet
Mazda owners from NV and AZ gather in Laughlin, NV for the 3rd Annual Tri-State Meet. A weekend dedicated to letting loose and having a good time. From the traditional drinking, Saturday bowling night to the epic drive to Oatman, AZ through some memorable twisties
10/25 Fire It Up Charity Car Show
11/22 RCCAZ Turkey Trot Tortilla Flats Drive
An annual tradition held by RCCAZ this time of year as the weather start getting cooler. A drive to the top of the Tortilla Flats where we stop, take some and pix and head back town for some lunch at the old mining town restraint
12/6 Cop Who Care “Toys 4 Totz” Show
Mainly a charity event to benefit the Toys 4 Totz but it’s also a car show. Held annually this time of year in Wickenburg, it all goes toward a great cause
12/12 Intense Power Charity Car Show
Hosted by Intense Power of Gilbert, proceeds were to benefit the St. Mary’s Food Bank, Salvation Army and the Children’s Hunger Fund.

AZSolo Auto-X @ FIR
Every month you can find members of AZMC participating in SCCA sanctioned autocross events at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, AZ.
NASA Track Days @ PIR
Once a month NASA hosts there track days at Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, AZ.
Scottsdale Pavilions
Currently the longest running car show in the US, the Pavilions are held every Saturday off of Indian Bend and the 101 in Scottsdale. We can be found out in full force a couple times a month for a Saturday night get together
Monthly Meetings
Every month the club holds meetings on upcoming events and club business. These are open to all new members and are encouraged to come. Each month its held at a different location all around the valley and even Tucson
Mod Meets
A relaxed environment were you get to socialize with other members and work on cars. Usually held at a members house, this is where your able to install aftermarket parts on your car. With all the knowledge and experience the members possess, we pretty much done it all
