Congratulation Drizz-Oh as our January MOTM ! !
Andrew’s Mazda addiction began in August of 2007 when he picked up a stock 2005 Pebble Ash Mazda6. While searching online for aftermarket parts and accessory shops in Arizona, he stumbled across the AZMC forum. His first event with the club was at the Hot Import Nights car show in October of 2007. Now he frequents mod meets, local car shows and the occasional autocross track event.
His modifications include a painted Seibon carbon fiber hood, a custom front bumper with a shaved-on lip & badgeless grille, 5Zigen wheels & Mazdaspeed springs, an upgraded rear sway bar and lots of body bracing, the CP-e MAFci air intake system, an upgraded ignition system and much more.
When he’s not tinkering with his car he can usually be found in front of a computer researching parts and posting on forums, taking pictures, slacking off at work, or tinkering with someone else’s car. He enjoys attending concerts, watching movies and trying to impress girls at parties. Thank You Andrew for representing AZMC and our first MOTM of 2010.

It was another eventful and exciting year for AZMC. Although we lost some members, we also gained more. This is intended to show and recap some memories from all that was accomplished in 2009 as it comes to an end. Thank You to all members who participated in any events this year to make it a memorable one.

1/24 Peoria Firefighters Charity Car Show
The first Charity Show of 2009. You could expect anything from classics, bikes, trucks and some the best custom paint jobs in the Valley
2/28 AZMC Annual Dyno Day
One of the most anticipated days of the year is the annual Dyno Day. Held at UMS Tuning in Mesa, nearly 20 Mazda’s were dyno'd in one day. Awards were handed out in 8 categories, meat was cooked and oil was burned! Another successful Dyno Day thanks to the guys at UMS
4/4 JennaBears Charity Car Show
2nd Annual JennaBears Shows is a Charity Car/Truck/Bike show benefiting the JennaBears Foundation. Held at the Peoria Sports Complex, you'll find a really nice selection of classic cars, jacked up 4x4, bikes and newer model cars
9/26 Seven Stock XII
Held at Mazda Corporate NA HQ in Irvine, CA; rotor heads assembled for a weekend festivity of everything rotary. From Friday night Karting to Saturdays guest speakers and awards for “Best Of”. This is a must for any rotary owner and one of the more popular events for AZMC
10/11 PebbleCreek Car Show
10/23 Annual Tri-State Mazda Meet
Mazda owners from NV and AZ gather in Laughlin, NV for the 3rd Annual Tri-State Meet. A weekend dedicated to letting loose and having a good time. From the traditional drinking, Saturday bowling night to the epic drive to Oatman, AZ through some memorable twisties
10/25 Fire It Up Charity Car Show
11/22 RCCAZ Turkey Trot Tortilla Flats Drive
An annual tradition held by RCCAZ this time of year as the weather start getting cooler. A drive to the top of the Tortilla Flats where we stop, take some and pix and head back town for some lunch at the old mining town restraint
12/6 Cop Who Care “Toys 4 Totz” Show
Mainly a charity event to benefit the Toys 4 Totz but it’s also a car show. Held annually this time of year in Wickenburg, it all goes toward a great cause
12/12 Intense Power Charity Car Show
Hosted by Intense Power of Gilbert, proceeds were to benefit the St. Mary’s Food Bank, Salvation Army and the Children’s Hunger Fund.

AZSolo Auto-X @ FIR
Every month you can find members of AZMC participating in SCCA sanctioned autocross events at Firebird International Raceway in Chandler, AZ.
NASA Track Days @ PIR
Once a month NASA hosts there track days at Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, AZ.
Scottsdale Pavilions
Currently the longest running car show in the US, the Pavilions are held every Saturday off of Indian Bend and the 101 in Scottsdale. We can be found out in full force a couple times a month for a Saturday night get together
Monthly Meetings
Every month the club holds meetings on upcoming events and club business. These are open to all new members and are encouraged to come. Each month its held at a different location all around the valley and even Tucson
Mod Meets
A relaxed environment were you get to socialize with other members and work on cars. Usually held at a members house, this is where your able to install aftermarket parts on your car. With all the knowledge and experience the members possess, we pretty much done it all
