Last we've heard the 16x wasn't passing emissions very well. The fact that it's being offered with a 4 door version of the car seems really backwards. With competing platforms over 300hp Mazda should stuff that motor into a lightweight 2 door platform to make it an easy contender.

Finally, 2 rotary powered cars in addition to their Miata on the market? Having 3 totally different sports cars seems very risky considering the economic climate.

I can see 1 redesigned rotary car for sure but that setup is pretty hard to believe.
